4 hours and 30 minutes

Easy

A small-group Bergen experience led by locals, blending Bergen’s city culture, panoramic mountain views, a historic stave church, and an atmospheric taste of Norway’s past.
Led by locals from Bergen, this walking tour offers an authentic and carefully curated experience that blends the best of the city’s culture, history, and nature. We only host small groups to ensure a more personal atmosphere and higher quality throughout the day. You'll explore iconic and lesser-known parts of Bergen, from the lively Fish Market and traditional Bunad boutiques to historical streets like Lille Øvregaten and Skostredet.

We ride the Fløibanen Funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen for breathtaking views before continuing to the forest-framed Fantoft Stave Church, a striking wooden church built in medieval style. The tour ends with a unique beer tasting in a candlelit wine cellar, where guests hear the dramatic tale of King Christian II and Dyveke.

Throughout the tour, your guide shares personal stories, practical tips, and local insight. This is not just sightseeing, but a warm and memorable experience led by people who truly know Bergen.
