Continue through Bergenhus Fortress to Haakons Hall, the medieval royal hall at the former centre of Norway's royal court. Pass St. Mary's Church before entering Bryggens Museum, built above the remains of Bergen's earliest buildings. See medieval rune sticks with messages about trade, faith, love, gossip, poetry and magic. Finish at Dr. Wiesener, a neighbourhood pub inside a former public bathhouse from 1889.
